Maybe Closure Was Never Meant to Be Loud

For a long time, you waited for closure to sound cinematic.

A confession.
A long overdue apology.
A conversation that finally made everything make sense.

But life is rarely that generous.

Sometimes closure is simply the day you stop rereading old messages.

The day their name no longer ruins your morning.

The day you realize you survived without the explanation you once thought you needed.

Because closure is not always something another person gives you.

Sometimes it is a private decision.

A quiet release.

A moment where your heart becomes tired of carrying what your mind already understands.

And maybe that is enough.

Maybe healing was never supposed to arrive dramatically.

Maybe it was always meant to feel ordinary.
Soft.
Silent.

Like finally putting something heavy down.

Some endings do not need explanation to be real.

Closure is sometimes just the moment you stop reopening the wound yourself.
